Job Summary

At Space Age Fuel Inc, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fuel Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our gas station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pump Operations: Safely and efficiently pump gas for customers, fill propane tanks as requested, and maintain a clean and organized pump area.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately handle customer transactions, make change, and balance the till.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of fuel, propane, and other supplies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of three months of related vehicle fueling experience is preferred.
  • At least six months of cash handling experience is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and fuel multiple vehicles simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without constant direction.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
Working Conditions

This position functions primarily outside at our gas station pumps. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold and hot weather. The employee may be required to stand for prolonged periods of time, operate a cash register, and communicate verbally and in writing. Must be able to communicate with a two-way radio.
