We are seeking a skilled Hematologist-Oncologist to join our team at East Hawaii Medical Group in the stunning landscapes of the Big Island of Hawaii. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to live and work in a unique and breathtaking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including hematology and oncology cases.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and medical history.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
  • Prescribe medications, infusions, order laboratory tests/imaging and coordinate follow-up care as needed.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about their cancer diagnosis, treatment options, and supportive care resources.
  • Participate in the monthly Tumor Board meetings.
