Resident Substitute Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Classified Substitute to join our team at KING CITY UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT. As a substitute, you will have the opportunity to work with students of all ages and backgrounds, providing instructional support and supervision in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities:The Classified Substitute will be responsible for:
- Teaching classes in the absence of a regular teacher
- Maintaining accurate records and grades
- Providing feedback and guidance to students
- Participating in professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- At least one year of experience working in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in education or related field
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Knowledge of educational technology and software

Other Information:
A Food Service Worker Exam will be required to be passed prior to hire. All substitutes are required to complete an application packet which includes a resume, letter of introduction, and letters of recommendation.
