Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, verifying their membership status and providing assistance as needed.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and courteous manner, providing accurate information and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Process membership sales, registrations, and transactions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide administrative support to the Membership Director and other staff members as needed.
  • Participate in and support the Annual Campaign, promoting the YMCA's mission and values.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of customer service and/or sales experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs, with prior knowledge of Active-net and Camp Brain Software a plus.
  • Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) preferred.
