We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to patients and families. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and services, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to nursing assistive personnel and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) as needed.
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver care and make decisions based on evidence-based practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Hawaii.
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a specialty area such as operating room, emergency department, or intensive care unit.
- Experience working with electronic medical records.
- One year of experience in a specialty area or completion of a formal course in the specialty area.
- Coursework in basic EKG.
