The Meadows on University is actively seeking dedicated Clinical Nurses to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exercise the authority, responsibility, and accountability essential for fulfilling the duties of this role.
- Conduct assessments of both the physical and emotional well-being of each resident, determining their ongoing or immediate care needs.
- Delegate direct care responsibilities to appropriate nursing staff based on resident needs, care area layout, and staff competencies.
- Oversee all aspects of direct resident care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
- Ensure nursing staff implement all restorative measures as outlined in the care plan and as required by each resident's condition. Report any changes in resident conditions to the Director of Nursing.
- Assist physicians during rounds, keeping them updated on resident statuses, condition changes, and medical emergencies.
- Plan the work schedule to facilitate education, supervision, and performance evaluations for nursing personnel during shifts.
- Maintain accurate and complete resident charts and care plans, ensuring that all entries are timely, informative, and reflective of the resident's condition.
- Document daily nursing notes for all skilled residents and provide monthly summary notes as per the established schedule.
- Ensure timely execution of all physician orders, including laboratory tests, specialized therapy orders, and the preparation and administration of medications as required.

Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in good standing.
- Completion of a training and competency evaluation program is required.
- Orientation completion as per company policy.
- Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
- Mandatory drug screening within 90 days of hire.
- Clear criminal background check.
- Provide satisfactory evidence of identity and employment eligibility within three days of hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
