Position Overview:
In a dynamic and rapidly evolving retail landscape, The Connors Group is seeking a driven and inquisitive Systems Analyst to enhance business operations and deliver cutting-edge systems and applications.
This role requires a strong technical and functional background, particularly with SAP S4 EWM/WM systems applications, along with a solid understanding of supply chain logistics processes. The Systems Analyst will be tasked with assessing business requirements, implementing IT strategies, and providing operational support for distribution centers across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into IT solutions and integrate them into SAP S4 EWM / WM LES, focusing on inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, and transportation systems.
- Configure, customize, optimize, and continuously improve logistics information systems and cross-module functionalities using standard SAP tools for both internal warehouses and third-party logistics (3PL).
- Support testing initiatives, including creating and reviewing test scenarios, and executing unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Provide second and third-level operational support for logistics systems, conducting analysis, corrective actions, and solutions.
- Engage actively in cutover, go-live, and hyper-care activities for various projects.
- Collaborate with regional business units and global IT teams, including external vendors, to implement effective solutions.
- Mentor and develop junior team members in EWM modules, focusing on technical and process-related areas.
- Stay informed about the latest technology trends within the industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Over 5 years of IT experience in implementing and supporting business solutions utilizing SAP EWM and/or SAP WM-LES, preferably in the retail or consumer goods sector.
- Proficient in detailed requirements gathering and business process design.
- Expertise in configuring the SAP EWM module with a deep understanding of warehouse processes and concepts, including PPF, RF, warehouse monitoring, labels, forms, and webdynpros.
- Experience in EWM interface development with SAP-ECC modules such as SD/MM/PP and other non-SAP systems using RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services/QRFC.
- Extensive experience in test management, planning, and execution.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Tosca Test Automation tools.
- Experience with SAP upgrade and migration projects is advantageous.
- ABAP background with debugging skills is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple objectives and deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated capability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
