Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Loyola University Health System. As a Radiographer I, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures with minimal supervision, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines to provide high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Assist radiologists during procedures to expedite patient care and improve quality of life.
  • Assess patient plans, provide intervention, and evaluate care to minimize unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies necessary for radiographic procedures and ensure patient safety.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Less than one year of previous job-related experience.
  • Current certification as a Registered Radiographic Technologist (RRT) or equivalent.
  • Illinois Emergency Management Agency Certification (IEMA) and CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
