Grain Grader

At The Mennel Milling Company, we are seeking a skilled Grain Grader to join our team. As a key member of our grain handling operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of grain grading and weighing processes.

• Operate grain grading and testing equipment to ensure accurate and efficient grain grading and weighing processes.
• Weigh, sample, and grade grain to meet USDA GIPSA-FGIS standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all food and personal safety regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of hand tools and ability to manipulate them for work.
• Excellent data entry, keyboard, and ten-key skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

The Grain Grader will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, exposed to moving equipment, dusty, hot/humid, and cold conditions. The noise level may require the use of hearing protection. The position involves exposure to common wheat allergens.
