Job Title: Production Supervisor

ABR Employment Services is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team in Mosinee, WI.

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for mentoring the production team to ensure adherence to procedures for quality product output in a safe environment. They will promote a positive work culture that values employee input and encourage team participation in improving production methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Team Leads to manage production activities, maximizing resource utilization and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Conduct regular product quality audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain high work standards and provide leadership to the production team.
  • Assess employee skills and development needs; create training plans to enhance employee performance.
  • Encourage team participation in improving production methods and processes.
  • Assist team members with procedures and equipment use, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews and develop career plans to support employee growth.
  • Address employee complaints and resolve issues per company policies, promoting a positive work culture.
  • Advocate for a safety-focused culture, ensuring compliance with company policies and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
  • Three years of supervisory experience in production, with a strong background in manufacturing safety and processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with excellent leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience with ERP software; IFS knowledge preferred.
  • Forklift operation skills or willingness to obtain a license.
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills, with proficiency in computers and understanding production schedules.

Work Environment:

The role requires regular use of hands for handling tools and controls, frequent standing and walking, and occasional sitting. The work environment is fast-paced, with a focus on quality and safety.
