Healthcare Education Manager

The Clinical Skills Development Specialist, under the direction of the Director, plays a critical role in supporting the growth and refinement of clinical abilities in staff members. This includes fostering a culture that encourages ongoing education and training for both novice and experienced professionals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with surgical services leadership to identify educational needs and develop programs to address them.
- Design and implement an orientation program for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Develop and maintain competency programs for clinical, technical, and administrative support staff.
- Track competency compliance and report exceptions to leaders quarterly.
- Update policies and procedures as needed, working closely with content experts and leadership teams.
- Foster a learning environment that encourages staff to identify their own needs and develop personalized educational plans.
- Maintain clinical skills and provide just-in-time training to staff as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current NH RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- BSN degree or enrollment in BSN program with expected completion within 2 years.
- Master's degree preferred.
