As a Unit Manager at Clovis Healthcare and Rehab Center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/resident, family, and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for assigned nursing units.
  • Ensure patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Genesis HealthCare and in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state, and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing units.
  • Manage human resources in assigned units, including limiting overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orienting staff, assessing work performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred. Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required. Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is preferred. Minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care is preferred. One year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred.
