Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the operations and financial activities of our hotel. As General Manager, you will safeguard the asset and help foster a culture that aligns with HEI Hotels and Resorts' values.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a customer-driven environment with exceptional quality and service standards.
  • Tour and inspect the property daily to monitor conditions, cleanliness, cost control, and quality of product and service.
  • Travel to attend corporate meetings, sales trips, and committee sessions.
  • Aid Human Resources with associate issues and develop improvement plans for management teams.
  • Participate in community affairs and maintain a positive public image for the property and HEI Hotels and Resorts.
  • Meet with potential and current clients to promote the hotel.
  • Active involvement in Sales and Revenue Management functions, including RevMax SOPs, Group site inspections, and results from ESS/MPSI Measurement Tool.
  • Guide other members of the Executive Committee, Management, and staff to make sound business decisions and achieve financial objectives.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience, preferably in Rooms and Food and Beverage.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the hotel property and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
