Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at The Kroger Company. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat to meet customer demands while ensuring high-quality standards and food safety guidelines are met.

• Prepare and cut meat to order, adhering to meat code date policy and company standards.
• Answer telephones and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Promote and follow company initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and sales.
• Comply with all food safety guidelines and standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform duties of a meat counter clerk as needed, including operating a cash register and handling customer transactions.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a meat cutting or food service environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer demands.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
