Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll perform routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures and examinations for radiological diagnosis, administer radio-pharmaceuticals and medications, and operate computed tomography scanners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging procedures and examinations using nuclear medicine equipment
  • Administer radio-pharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures
  • Operate computed tomography scanners used in conjunction with nuclear medicine procedures
  • Provide high-quality images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures
  • Evaluate images to determine technical quality and calibration of instrumentation
  • Maintain communication with radiologists, patients, and other healthcare professionals
  • Assist in the completion of accreditation processes and maintain day-to-day schedules

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (PET technologists only)
  • CT Certification within 180 days of hire
  • 1+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiology, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and use computerized systems

Work Environment

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, and assisting patients weighing 300 pounds or more.
