Job Summary
Cohere Technology Group seeks an experienced Mobile Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Dulles, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing custom software tools and techniques for the Android platform, as well as a strong understanding of network security and reverse engineering.

About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to work independently and collaboratively with a fast-paced team. The Mobile Cybersecurity Specialist will be responsible for designing and developing custom software solutions, mentoring junior developers, and troubleshooting complex issues using COTS and GOTS tools.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop custom software tools and techniques for the Android platform
* Develop and implement secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities
* Mentor and lead junior-level developers to accomplish mission objectives
* Troubleshoot complex issues using COTS and GOTS tools
* Collaborate with the team to identify and address security risks

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Development experience with Python, C, and native mobile development
* Expertise in UNIX applications, including make files and build environments
* Strong understanding of network security, including packet-level protocols and IP, TCP, and application-level protocols
* Experience with tracing code execution in debuggers and reverse engineering native binaries
* Knowledge of Unix kernel internals, OS-specific mandatory and discretionary access control mechanisms, and process and thread APIs and data structures
* Familiarity with version control software such as Git and Gitlab

Desired Skills and Qualifications
* Experience with vulnerability analysis and exploit development
* Familiarity with assembly programming, preferably ARM
* Understanding of mobile security protection mechanisms, such as SELinux and application sandboxing
* Programming skills in Objective-C, Swift, or C++

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must possess a U.S. government Top Secret security clearance and be able to obtain a Full Scope Polygraph.

Education
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

Estimated Salary Range
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
