Job Summary

You will be accountable for maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to all state and federal laws and regulations, and actively participating in our company's safety program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Plant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the plant, including regular inspections and oversight to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Collaborate with Plant Leadership: Work closely with Plant Superintendents and Department Superintendents to support Continuous Improvement activities and drive process excellence.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Ensure timely completion of Incident Investigation Reports for incidents that occur during your shift.
  • Environmental Compliance: Maintain knowledge and adherence to environmental regulations, making informed decisions on reportable issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Proactively address quality issues throughout the plant, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Personnel Management: Coordinate and follow through on personnel issues that arise during your shift, working closely with Plant Leadership.
  • Mentorship and Development: Mentor Shift Supervisors and operators, providing feedback and guidance to support their growth and development.
  • Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Analyze information, evaluate results, and make informed decisions to solve production problems and choose the best solutions.
  • Special Projects and Initiatives: Participate in special projects and initiatives assigned by Plant Leadership, working collaboratively with Department Superintendents to drive results.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous work experience managing people and production processes, with a strong understanding of process equipment and operations.
  • Education and Training: ADM safety orientation and ongoing OSHA required plant safety training, with a basic knowledge of process equipment.
