About the Role

As a Software Engineering Manager at Google Inc., you will be responsible for leading the Audio Software Experiences team. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage engineers across multiple teams and locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and communicate team priorities that align with the company's goals.
  • Develop and evolve the technical roadmap within the scope of the team.
  • Design and guide systems designs, and write product or system development code to solve complex problems.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, with 2 years of experience in people management, supervision/team leadership.
  • Experience with Audio technologies for consumer electronic devices.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 10 years of experience in software design and architecture.
  • 5 years of experience working in a changing organization.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $212,150 - $324,225 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
