Job Opportunity: Lead Carpenter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at SERVPRO of Wolfe Restoration, Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate carpentry projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
  • Supervise and train carpentry team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect and verify the accuracy of project paperwork, including plans, specifications, and change orders.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within budget and meet company standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years of carpentry experience, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and managing projects.
  • Good working knowledge of all building trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, team members, and subcontractors.
  • A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing, and working at ceiling heights.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces, such as crawl spaces under buildings.
  • Repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects.
