Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive demeanor when interacting with residents and colleagues.
  • Ensure Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain all assigned areas, including corridors and ancillary spaces, in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner, adhering to accurate preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Inspect and Use Judgment: Inspect areas and use judgment to determine the most effective cleaning techniques to follow.
  • Operate Equipment Safely: Demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions, as observed by supervisors.
  • Dispose of Waste Properly: Diligently employ universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
  • Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Keep carts properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring all chemicals are accurately labeled and equipment is in good working condition.
  • Promote Interpersonal Relationships: Foster effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintaining professional conduct at all times.
  • Improve Productivity: Assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department.
