About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team at Jobot. This is a permanent position that offers you a chance to be a part of our dedicated workforce in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain CNC programs for our mill, lathe, and mill-turn machines using CAD software.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and design drawings for parts manufacturing.
  • Apply knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for precision machining.
  • Conduct first article inspections to ensure that programmed specifications meet design requirements.
  • Manage materials by ensuring optimal utilization and minimal wastage.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by strictly adhering to safety management protocols and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest changes to enhance production quality and efficiency.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software for CNC programming.
  • Solid knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
  • Experience in first article inspections, material management, safety management, and quality control.
  • Strong understanding of mill, lathe, and mill-turn machine operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively work with team members at all levels.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Relevant certification or diploma in CNC programming or a related field is preferred.
