Hair Stylist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hair Stylist to join our team at Mandara Spa. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality hair care services to clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling.
• Prescribe the appropriate regimen of hair, nail, and facial products and services for each client.
• Educate clients on home maintenance and the benefits of additional services.
• Work as part of the Spa therapy team to consistently provide the highest possible standard of treatment.
• Ensure all equipment and linens are fully stocked on a day-to-day basis.
• Attend a detailed training program to ensure competence in performing all Mandara signature services.
• Ensure all guests receive a completed prescription form after each service.
• Strive to consistently produce a minimum of 15% in retail sales per day/week/month.
• Ensure all professional stock used is in compliance with the correct company PAR levels.

Requirements:

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Compliant with State Board sanitation/sterilization procedures.
• Relevant training and certification required to be a licensed Hair Stylist with proficient skills in cutting, coloring, and blow-drying.
• Sufficient state license.
• Proven sales/recommendation background.
• Team player.
• Responsible and dependable.
• High personal standards and values.
• Excellent client care, guest service, and attention to detail.
• Ability and willingness to update technical skills by facilitating and participating in ongoing training.
• Effective communicator.
• Flexible and cooperative.

Working Conditions:

• Spa and normal retail environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, etc.
• May be required to work overtime, evenings, and weekends.
