Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Roaster Maintenance Technician to join our team at Nevada Gold Mines. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our roasting equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on roasting equipment, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and extend lifespan
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair
Requirements
  • Four (4) years of experience in industrial maintenance or two (2) years of maintenance school with a certificate
  • Demonstrated ability to work from blueprints and drawings
  • Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs on pumps, primary crushers, Omnicones, and conveyor systems
  • Experience in TIG and MIG welding stainless steel and titanium pipe
  • Millwright skills, including hydraulic systems and alignments
  • Fabrication, machinist, and high-pressure welding skills
  • Excellent safety and attendance record
