Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary Psychiatry team in Western North Carolina. Our program offers a unique blend of inpatient and outpatient services, including a 9-bed Adolescent and 8-bed Child Psychiatry unit, a 23-bed Emergency Department Psychiatric Evaluation Area, and a Structured outpatient program with group therapy focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment to children and adolescents in our inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in teaching and supervision as part of our new regional psychiatry residency training program
  • Contribute to the development of our Structured outpatient program
