About the Role
This position requires at least 1 year of prior RN work experience and meets all requirements of Clinical Nurse I. Completion of Level I is usually achieved by 12 months of employment. Med/surg, telemetry, or IMC experience is preferred, and inpatient oncology experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, document, and evaluate the effects of nursing care for patients.
- Care delivery and coordination of patient and family care begins with the initial contact with the healthcare system and may continue across the continuum.
- Services may be provided on an inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and/or community basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine.
- Certification in relevant specialty preferred.
- Evidence of 10 hours of ongoing education per year.
