Job Title: Pre-Licensed Psychiatric Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Pre-Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our team at the Porterville Developmental Center. As a Pre-Licensed Psychiatric Technician, you will provide direct care, treatment, and support to clients with developmental disabilities, under the supervision of licensed staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to clients with developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Participate in client assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Completion of a Psychiatric Technician training program accredited by the California Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technician Examiners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

The Porterville Developmental Center is a dynamic and supportive work environment. As a Pre-Licensed Psychiatric Technician, you will work in a team-based setting, providing care and support to clients with developmental disabilities. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
