About the Role- Evaluate and treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, performing surgery, and other therapies.
- Collect body tissue, feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination and analysis.
- Work with a highly skilled team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Examine animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries.
- Treat animals by prescribing medication, dressing wounds, performing surgery, or other therapies.
- Administer anesthetics, perform surgery, and monitor patients during surgery and recovery.
$130,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. Must have a valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of Nevada or ability to become licensed, Nevada State Board of Pharmacy controlled substance license, dispensing license, and DEA licenses or ability to obtain these licenses.
