The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical foundation, alongside superior writing and communication abilities, ensuring responsiveness to client needs. Key Responsibilities:The selected candidate will play a pivotal role within the leadership framework of Central / Eastern Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include:
- Fostering the growth of our environmental team through mentorship and effective staff management.
- Collaborating across various disciplines to drive client engagement and project initiatives.
- Leading environmental projects from the planning phase through to construction, ensuring compliance with PA and federal environmental regulations, including NEPA and CWA.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Natural Resource Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance, with consideration for candidates with substantial relevant experience.
- Proven track record in business development and effective client communication.
- Experience in mentoring and managing teams.
- Ability to develop and oversee project scopes, schedules, and budget estimates.
- Strong oral and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively across multiple offices.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- A positive demeanor and a collaborative spirit as both a leader and team member.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and technical growth.
- Willingness to embrace and implement innovative technologies and methodologies.
