We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Senior Environmental Project Scientist / Planner to enhance our team in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical foundation, alongside superior writing and communication abilities, ensuring responsiveness to client needs. Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role within the leadership framework of Central / Eastern Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include:

  • Fostering the growth of our environmental team through mentorship and effective staff management.
  • Collaborating across various disciplines to drive client engagement and project initiatives.
  • Leading environmental projects from the planning phase through to construction, ensuring compliance with PA and federal environmental regulations, including NEPA and CWA.
Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Natural Resource Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance, with consideration for candidates with substantial relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in business development and effective client communication.
  • Experience in mentoring and managing teams.
  • Ability to develop and oversee project scopes, schedules, and budget estimates.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively across multiple offices.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • A positive demeanor and a collaborative spirit as both a leader and team member.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and technical growth.
  • Willingness to embrace and implement innovative technologies and methodologies.
