Key Responsibilities
  • Work Coordination: Communicate daily schedules to maintenance personnel, ensuring they understand tasks, timelines, and priorities.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Monitor progress, identify variances, and take corrective action to ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Project Management: Implement projects to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Training and Development: Identify and address training needs for maintenance personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Performance Management: Evaluate maintenance personnel performance, address issues, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of maintenance work, including completion of work orders and entry into our CMMS system.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of trades classifications and functions, as well as prior experience with maintenance or facility maintenance union contracts and vendor contracts.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with maintenance personnel and operations teams.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient use of various computer programs, including CMMS systems.
  • Teamwork: Ability to lead and work within a teamwork structure.
