Job Summary
The adjunct instructor of sociology will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the college's strategic goals and evaluating student progress to facilitate achievement of their educational objectives. To succeed in this role, you should have a master's degree in sociology or a related field and relevant teaching experience in a community college setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction and evaluate student performance
- Prepare lessons and provide timely feedback
- Accommodate special needs students and refer them to support services when necessary

Requirements
- Master's degree in sociology or a related area with 18 graduate credits in sociology
- Teaching experience in a community college environment

Estimated Salary Range
$1,069 - $1,109 per contact hour (dependent on level of education)
