Job Title: Group Counselor

Seafield Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Group Counselor to join our team. As a Group Counselor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals struggling with addiction to achieve recovery and a healthier lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide group counseling to assigned caseloads, focusing on evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with patients and their families.
  • Conduct assessments and admission processes, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all services provided, adhering to confidentiality and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with referral sources, including EAPs and criminal justice agencies, to ensure seamless transitions and referrals.
  • Participate in weekly case conferences and supervision, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:
  • CASAC or CASAC eligible, or B/S-B/A with working knowledge of substance abuse disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory requirements.
