About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated COTA to join our team. As a COTA with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals, providing occupational therapy services that promote independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Administer treatment to patients as a licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant in accordance with the treatment plan and within established legal guidelines.
  • Educate patients, other health professionals, and family members regarding occupational therapy on an ongoing basis.
  • Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document and report findings to Occupational Therapist.
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to three years' experience as a COTA preferred.
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), Pushing, Pulling, Bending.
