Ski Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified ski instructor to join our team at Schweitzer Incorporated. As a ski instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality lessons to guests of all ages and skill levels.

• Teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages and skill levels, utilizing recognized methodology accepted by the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI).
• Provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment, with an emphasis on guest service and satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with other ski instructors and staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to maintain and improve your skills.

• PSIA/AASI certification required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Willingness to develop in the realms of people, teaching, and technical skills.
• Growth mindset with the desire to collaborate, equip, communicate, and encourage.

The physical demands of this role include:

• Regularly walking, talking, seeing, hearing, and skiing/snowboarding.
• Capable of skiing or snowboarding in all types of terrain in varying and sometimes hazardous snow and weather conditions.
• Capable of standing for long periods of time, up to 90% or more of a normal work shift.
• Capable of frequently or constantly balancing, reaching, squatting, bending, kneeling, stooping, handling, and twisting.

This role will require working in outdoor environments, frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, including extreme winter cold and blizzard conditions.
