Job Overview

Position: Aerospace Electronics Technician

Company: Trinity Employment Specialists

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm

Compensation: $17-19/HR

The Aerospace Electronics Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing intricate aviation electronic and electromechanical systems at the component level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Conduct testing, disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of aircraft components.
  • Accurately read and apply maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience:

  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in the electronic or electromechanical sector or completion of an Aviation Technology program.
  • Technical proficiency in interpreting technical documentation.
  • Skilled in soldering, board repair, and mechanical component assembly/disassembly.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard testing equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and frequency generators, with a willingness to learn specialized equipment applications.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math proficiency.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to address practical problems and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Capable of interpreting diverse instructions presented in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and use hands for handling or feeling. The technician may occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.
