Job Summary

The Retirement Administrator will oversee the daily and ongoing operations activities related to Everence annuities and Everence Retirement Services (ERS). This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and with others.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate with other staff to complete day-to-day administrative tasks in annuities, including processing surrenders, maturities, retirement payments, and correspondence.
  2. Provide leadership to Everence annuity product strategy, operations, and sales.
  3. Coordinate the onboarding of new ERS plans, facilitate communication between advisors and third-party providers, and maintain the day-to-day operation of existing ERS plans.
  4. Develop and maintain expertise in annuities and ERS products to assist clients and Everence consultants in establishing accounts, completing enrollment materials, maintaining accounts, and completing forms.
  5. Provide customer service to advisors, employers, and participants.
  6. Produce operation and participant reports for annuities and ERS.
  7. Provide backup to the Life Administrator when necessary.
  8. Assist in compliance activities related to all retirement products.
  9. Maintain all administrative forms, manuals, and form letters.
  10. Assist in maintaining all retirement operations systems and procedures.
Requirements
  1. College graduate
  2. Prior experience in the financial services industry is preferred
  3. Background in retirement products and operations desired, but not required
  4. Ability to take initiative, and work independently and with others
  5. Leadership ability with attention to detail
  6. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word; An aptitude for learning job-specific software applications
  7. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to read, understand, and communicate technical information clearly and simply
  8. The ability to handle multiple projects
  9. Good customer service skills
  10. Either possess or be willing to obtain professional certifications
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with no supervisory responsibility.
