Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach two sections of United States History to 1877 (HIST 103) in a traditional lecture format.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures, assignments, and exams that meet the course learning objectives.
  • Grade student assignments and exams in a timely and fair manner.
  • Hold weekly office hours to support student learning and success.
  • Use Canvas to structure the course and facilitate communication with students.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in History from an accredited university.
  • Ph.D. in History preferred, ABD acceptable.
  • Experience teaching at the collegiate level, preferably introductory and developmental history courses.
