About the Role

Aalberts Surface Technologies is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Champion: Take responsibility for the overall operational reliability of equipment and aid in the planning of repairs and rebuilds.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems, as well as perform general maintenance activities such as pipe-fitting, burning, welding, millwrighting, assembling, plumbing, and installing.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Inspect, adjust, clean, and lubricate equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Training and Development: Train and instruct lesser-knowledgeable employees in preventive maintenance and routine equipment care practices.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain plant inventory levels for maintenance parts and supplies as directed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain plant equipment and maintenance records to meet safety, environmental, and quality compliance standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least two years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Basic computer operator skills, ability to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and equipment manuals, and ability to work with a variety of equipment and tools.
