Job Overview

INTEGRIS Health, a leading not-for-profit healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated RN Transplant Coordinator. This role involves collaborating with our Mechanical Circulatory Support team to deliver outstanding care to patients. The position operates during standard business hours, offering a full-time commitment.

Role Responsibilities

The RN Transplant Coordinator is responsible for a variety of critical functions, including but not limited to:
  • Overseeing the transplantation registry, gathering and analyzing data to inform decisions regarding organ donation and transplantation.
  • Evaluating potential transplant recipients and live donors to ensure suitability for solid organ transplantation.
  • Implementing recipient and donor selection criteria during transplant procedures and coordinating preoperative care.
  • Monitoring and assessing postoperative organ performance and reporting findings.
  • Providing comprehensive education regarding transplantation and discharge processes to patients and their families.
  • Facilitating post-transplant care and rehabilitation for recipients.
  • Engaging in nursing and collaborative research activities, including data collection and analysis.
  • Working alongside the Business Office to manage the financial aspects of transplantation for patients.
  • Participating in on-call duties as scheduled, including potential emergency response.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Oklahoma or a multistate license from an eNLC member state.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
  • CCTC/CCTN certification is required within three years of employment.
  • Experience in ICU, medical-surgical, or clinical transplantation is preferred.
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing may substitute for two years of RN experience.
  • Current BLS certification is required upon hire or must be completed within 30 days.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
