We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at 0101 D3 Oncology Inc. in Augusta, GA. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy while providing staff with the proper education and training to minimize radiation exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Calibration of dose meters and radiation equipment
• Beam data acquisition for treatment planning
• Preparation of data for treatment planning systems
• Development and improvement of dose measurement systems and protocols
• Ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and organizational regulations for radiation safety
• Participating in the development of organizational Performance Improvement activities, policies, and procedures
• Assisting in the acceptance testing and commissioning of new machines
• Performing individual treatment planning, dosimetry calculations, and treatment planning reviews
• Providing physics consultation to radiation oncology personnel and radiation oncologists
Requirements:
• M.S. or PhD in Medical Physics or a closely related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in addition to a CAMPEP-accredited residency
• Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or other alternative certifying body
• Ability to relocate to Augusta, GA or surrounding area
