Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at Haydon. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates for large and complex construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine scope of work and required estimate contents.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure estimates are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve estimating processes and techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in estimating, cost control, and/or engineering, with at least 4 years of estimating experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of company procedures, estimating techniques, and all engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to estimate all types of projects/contracts and coordinate and supervise group work effort.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to negotiate to drive revenue.
