Position Summary:

Cogir of Brea is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our vibrant retirement community. Our Care Partners play a crucial role in delivering personalized care to our senior residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

What You Can Expect:

As a Care Partner, you will provide essential support to residents, assisting them with daily living activities while adhering to community protocols and safety regulations. Your role will focus on fostering independence and offering emotional support through compassionate care and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and transferring.
  • Encourage participation in life enrichment programs and activities.
  • Maintain open communication with healthcare professionals, families, and staff.
  • Promote a safe and engaging environment for all residents.

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and a passion for working with seniors.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience.
  • Experience in Memory Care is advantageous.
  • Current caregiver certification or willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid and CPR certification or ability to acquire.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
