About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, safe, and cost-effective total nursing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process, directing care according to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control.

This is a per diem day position, offering flexibility and variety in your work schedule. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the PACU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and implement individualized patient plans, ensuring seamless transitions between departments and teams
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1+ years of experience in critical care or PACU nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
