Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide chair-side support to our doctors and hygienists, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient appointment scheduling. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to doctors and hygienists, including charting, patient education, and operatory setup and cleanup.
  • Place white composite fillings and temporary crowns and bridges as needed.
  • Utilize digital crown design software (Romexis Planmeca E4D) and basic scanning knowledge (iTero and E4D).
  • Manage patient flow to ensure efficient appointments and scheduling.
  • Welcome patients and deliver positive patient experiences.
  • Radiology certification: full mouth x-rays, panorex, CBCT.
  • Experience with Dentrix/Dexis is a plus, but we will provide on-site training.
  • Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files at the direction of the dentist.
  • Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
  • Monitor laboratory cases and ensure they are ready for patients.
Qualifications
  • Two (2)+ years of experience as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant is preferred.
  • Dental Assistant and x-ray certifications are required.
  • Coronal polishing certifications are a plus.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • The ability and willingness to create a positive, supportive environment for patients and team members.
