Position Summary
The International Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer support and sales assistance to a designated customer portfolio through various communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders promptly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to shipping instructions.
- Proactively suggest product updates to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Act as a liaison for Production Control to maintain production schedules and expedite orders as needed.
- Assist with accounting processes related to payments and credit terms.
- Provide necessary documentation for customers throughout the sales process.
- Manage and process change orders and credit memos efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with certification requirements and coordinate necessary inspections.
- Maintain accurate export documentation and customer records.
- Identify customer needs to recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Educate customers on product features and benefits to boost sales and satisfaction.
- Communicate pricing, delivery, and payment terms clearly and effectively.
- Utilize Sales Force to manage leads and opportunities in line with company standards.
- Support the receptionist as needed and resolve customer service issues effectively.
- Document product and service issues in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the VP of Business Development and Regional Managers to support business objectives.
- Prepare necessary banking documentation as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Fluency in English, with the ability to effectively communicate in various settings.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform tasks that may require sitting for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, with an air-conditioned office setting and occasional exposure to manufacturing conditions.
Work Hours:
This position requires a commitment of 40+ hours per week, typically during standard office hours.
