Inspector A

We are seeking a highly skilled Inspector A to join our team at Kaman Aerospace in Jacksonville, FL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections of aircraft details, machine parts, and assemblies. They will also review manufacturing documentation and quality records to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

• Perform inspections using inspection tools and gages, including calipers, micrometers, and hardness testers.
• Review manufacturing documentation and quality records to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Identify and report any nonconforming conditions, including engineering requirements and variation from nominal.
• Prepare rejection documentation and participate in root cause identification and corrective action development.
• Participate in company internal audits and support customer audits.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current ASQ certification preferred.
• 4 years of experience in a quality department role required.
• At least 2 years of formal training or equivalent in a particular or specialized occupation required.
