Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Saint Joseph Health System. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for scheduled operations and arrange sterile setup of instrument tables according to established procedures.
  • Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies, holding retractors, and anticipating their needs during the course of surgery.
  • Clean the operating room and store equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • High school graduate with formal training as a surgery tech.
  • Associates in allied health surgical technology preferred.
  • Surgical Technologist certification required, unless Surgical Technologist program was completed prior to 2009.
  • 2 years of experience in the operating room as a surgical technologist.
