About the Role

Fisher Associates is seeking a highly motivated and talented entry-level Highway Engineer to join our dynamic Highway Team within the Transportation Group. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, maintaining, and managing highways, roads, and transportation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for highway projects.
  • Assist with field inspections and data collection for roadway projects.
  • Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Proactively assist Project Managers and Designers.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of project details, including design documents, progress reports, and budget information.
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred).
  • 0-5 years minimum of transportation experience, highway engineering experience preferred.
  • Intern Engineer certification (IE, formerly EIT) or ability to obtain it.
  • Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenRoads Software preferred.
