Electrophysiology Technician

DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will assist physicians in the Electrophysiology laboratory during intra-cardiac EP studies and pacemaker implants.

• Perform all duties of an electrophysiology technician, including collection and interpretation of data.
• Operate various equipment needed to monitor blood pressure, oxygen level, electrocardiograms, pressure in chambers and vessels in the heart.
• Prepare patients for electrophysiology studies and pacemaker follow-up in clinic.
• Adhere to hospital and department policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Promote the values of DMC by demonstrating behaviors supportive of a commitment to quality, community welfare, respect and involvement, teamwork, open and effective communication, innovation and education, and efficient and effective resource use.

• Graduate of an approved Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician Program or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• One to two years experience in the cardiology field, including performance measurement of intra-cardiac recordings and pacemaker analyses preferred.
