Responsibilities
  • Assist students with loading and unloading from the school bus, providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with the driver to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere on the bus, promoting a culture of kindness and inclusivity.
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, adapting to their unique requirements and needs.
  • Perform lifting and other physical tasks as required, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with special needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 183 days per year. The salary range is according to the Madison County Schools Salary Schedule, with actual salary determined by rank and experience.
