Position Summary
We are looking for a Pediatric Phlebotomist to contribute to our healthcare services. This position involves the collection of blood, tissue, and fluid samples from young patients. Your work will play a crucial role in helping individuals identify health issues and maintain wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize sample collection requests based on urgency
  • Gather personal information from patients
  • Select the appropriate venipuncture technique for each individual
  • Offer comfort and reassurance to patients during the sample collection
  • Utilize sterilized equipment, including needles and vials, for blood draws
  • Accurately label samples and ensure they are sent for analysis

Required Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
  • Phlebotomy certification is preferred
  • Understanding of best practices in patient identification
  • Familiarity with legal standards for blood and fluid sample collection
  • Proficient in computer skills and data entry

Work Schedule
Monday to Friday - 5:00 PM
